Job Description Job Description Job Summary Lead a full-service Bank branch, overseeing daily operations, client experience, sales performance, and safety/security initiatives. Drive deposit growth, enforce compliance, and develop a high-performing team aligned with organizational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring in-office presence. Key Responsibilities Oversee branch operations, profitability, audits, and regulatory compliance (state & federal) Hire, coach, and develop staff; conduct documented 1:1s, evaluations, and performance/compensation reviews Execute sales strategies including outbound calls, networking, community events, and referral generation Drive core deposit growth through in-branch promotions and market-based sales initiatives Approve large transactions; review and decision NSF/overdraft exceptions within authority limits Maintain operational quality control and ensure staff training on policy and procedural updates Support CRA initiatives (10 volunteer hours annually; mileage reimbursed) Leadership Expectations Manage 2 branch employees, including scheduling, training, performance oversight, and timecard accuracy Model and enforce a customer-first culture while resolving issues proactively before escalation Qualifications 7 years in branch banking, including 5 years in branch management Proven success driving deposits and account growth through sales leadership Experience managing complex business and consumer accounts Strong hiring, coaching, and performance management background Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and core banking systems Active involvement in community organizations preferred (Rotary, Chamber, etc.) Notary or Notary-eligible preferred CA Driver’s License and insured vehicle required Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023 -06/22- 088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay - transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
