active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school district in
Pittsburg, CA is seeking a part-time physical therapist to provide
support across seven schools, serving approximately 40 students
from preschool through high school. This contract position offers
18 to 22.5 hours per week for the current school year.
Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy services that
address the diverse needs of students. The role involves both
consultative and direct therapy approaches tailored to individual
student requirements. Flexibility to work across multiple schools
within the district is essential. Desired Qualifications and
Experience: - Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in
school-based settings - Familiarity with pediatric physical
therapy, including working with students from preschool through
high school - Ability to provide both consultative services and
direct interventions - Strong communication skills for
collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing caseloads across multiple locations within a
