As part of our growth and expansion, the MINA Group Marketing team seeks a talented, hands-on Creative Director to set and oversee the creative direction of our restaurant brands. You will lead the creative direction in this role.

You will have an opportunity to help shape the vision for how we elevate our brands and apply that vision to the design and implementation of creative strategies for high-visibility and high-impact marketing programs and campaigns along with the guest experience.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Creative Director with a solid visual design and art direction background who has a passion for and knowledge of restaurants, hospitality and/or retail. 3-to 5 years of managing digital designers and creatives is desired.

You should have extensive experience creating and overseeing the messaging and visual brand identity of numerous complex marketing and merchandising projects for top consumer-facing brands. Not only will you have strong creative skills, but you also manage and can provide feedback and guidance to a wide array of creatives from designers and copywriters to maintain the integrity of our brands. In addition, you should have the ability to communicate a clear vision that engages and inspires internal teams, resulting in creative that is unique, beautiful, and effective in doing the same for guests.


  • Lead strategic and complex design projects that present multidisciplinary challenges and span across multiple teams
  • Manage internal and external creative resources to ensure work achieves project goals, meets the highest quality standards, and is delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead and define our evolving brands through art direction, graphic design, motion design, social design, and UI
  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
  • Effectively collaborate with agencies, cross-functional partners and the marketing team to implement scalable processes for extending the brand identity across all customer touchpoints
  • Establish mechanisms and audit work to maintain consistent brand standards across customer facing CX and marketing programs
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging marketing/branding trends and digital innovations into creative strategies
  • Proactively work to solve problems on behalf of the team and seek out or provide clarification when there is ambiguity
    Knowledge and Abilities Required:
    • An accessible online portfolio listed on your resume that demonstrates direction of creative work that unifies strategy and execution across a range of channels, aesthetics, and project budgets
    • 5+ years of experience in creative roles at a creative agency, editorial publication, retailer, and/or consumer brand
    • Understanding of UI, typography, and image standards for web/social
    • Understanding of digital content production, including familiarity with post-production retouching and editing
    • Fluency with contemporary social media platforms, technologies, and trends
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
      Additional Skills Preferred:
      • Should have extensive experience overseeing the messaging and visual identity of numerous complex marketing and merchandising projects for top consumer-facing brands
      • You should have a keenly developed aesthetic sensibility and understanding of current design, technology, media, and other cultural trends to craft content that resonates with guests
      • Experience concepting and producing social-first marketing content
      • Exceptional creative concepting, development, and design skills
      • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
      • A self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
      • Effective cross-team collaborator with the ability to work across multiple creative projects and meet aggressive deadlines
      • The demonstrated ability to use date, performance metric, and customer insights and data to inform and defend strategic recommendations
      • Hands-on ownership of restaurant-related branding and campaign work
      • Expert knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing best practices
      • Extensive food styling and art direction experience
      • Basic knowledge of UX and front-end web design processes and best practices
        • Experience designing and producing content for onsite merchandising/branding of websites

          TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: May require travel to local sites to effectively complete essential functions of this role. Overnight travel may be required on an as needed basis, e.g., new restaurant opening, training, which will be determined at the discretion of the company.
