upgradesDetails:The Director of Aide Services position works under
the direction of the Director of Clinical Services and is
responsible for assigning and overseeing Aides, as they provide
care to residents in accordance with resident assessments, care
plans and as directed by nursing management. Duties include but are
not limited to: --- Responsible for creating, managing and
maintaining schedules for C.N.As; daily floor assignments; a
monthly master schedules and the resident escort schedules. ---
Must have excellent computer skills and experience with Excel
spreadsheets. --- Ensure that charting is completed by all C.N.A's.
--- Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; providing
fresh water and nourishment between meals. --- Provide assistance
in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs,
shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom;
helping with showers and baths. --- Provide assistance in
ambulating, turning, and positioning residents. --- Maintain
resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording
intake and output information. --- Provide for resident comfort by
utilizing resources and materials; i.e.: reporting observations of
the residents to the nursing supervisor. --- Document actions by
completing forms, reports, logs, and records. --- Protect privacy
and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply
with HIPAA guidelines and related laws. --- Adhere to professional
standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state,
and local requirements. --- Update job knowledge by participating
in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;
participating in professional organizations; and maintaining
licensure.Qualifications:Strong commitment to improving quality of
life while partnering with our community organizations in patient
careAbility to work well within a team environment to collaborate
daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA
leadershipEager to gain higher level of opportunities such as
certifications and further educationAble to work independently and
on your own from a day-to-day basisMust be willing to drive with
reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto
insuranceCurrent CNA certification or Valid RN/LVN/LPN license in
accordance with the laws of the state of practiceCPR certified
RequiredExcellent customer service and organizational skills
required.Long term care experience preferred.Previous experience as
a C.N.A is preferred.Must be willing to drive with reliable
transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurancePNDC
