currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our International Tax
practice. Responsibilities include:Providing guidance to
multinational enterprises on strategic business decisions,
including location choices, entity selection, supply chain
optimization, and capital mobilization for global operations. This
involves assessing tax risk profiles, global effective tax rates,
and cash positions and preparing and reviewing intricate tax
models.Advising multinational enterprises on tax planning decisions
at a global level, considering the short and long-term implications
and consequences in alignment with broader business objectives and
multinationals' tax risk profiles, global effective tax rates, and
cash positions.Collaborating with our Mergers & Acquisition Tax
colleagues to structure tax aspects of multinational transactions
such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and
IPOs. This includes drafting tax opinions, memos, structure decks,
and Excel models to illustrate tax benefits.Assisting multinational
enterprises in preparing tax provisions for financial statements
and reviewing compliance work products. Additionally, supporting
KPMG audit teams in evaluating a company's financial reporting
concerning tax implications from global operations and
transactions.Offering guidance on income tax treaty planning
opportunities stemming from cross-border investing and trading
activities, both inbound and outbound.For International Tax
professionals working in the alternative investment sector,
providing these services to alternative investment companies across
the investment life cycle for asset managers and portfolio
companies with global operations.Qualifications:A minimum of eight
years of experience in international tax, mergers and acquisitions,
and/or federal tax planning engagements.Bachelor's degree from an
accredited college/university. Licensed CPA, JD, LLM, or foreign
equivalent in combination with Enrolled Agent status.Proficiency in
a wide range of international and domestic tax law
provisions.Strong research and writing skills, Excel modeling
capabilities, and effective oral communication.Ability to manage
and lead multiple engagements, contribute positively to
collaborative client service teams, supervise and support the
development and training of staff professionals, maintain
professionalism, and deliver exceptional client service.Capability
to nurture client relationships and expand our presence in local
and global markets by collaborating with U.S. and non-U.S. teams to
