is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Dining Advisory Practice
Group—where analytical rigor drives mission-focused transformation
on college campuses. The Opportunity Here at B&D, we lead the

strengthen our communities. Our Dining Advisory Practice Group
advises colleges and universities across the country on the
planning and development of campus dining assets and the
optimization of food service operating partnerships. We are seeking
a Senior Analyst who is energized by complex analysis, thoughtful
synthesis, and the opportunity to shape strategic recommendations
for institutions nationwide. This role is ideal for someone with a
strong analytical foundation. Someone who is naturally curious,
values the purpose and impact of food and dining advisory services,
and wants to develop into a client-facing leader over time. This is
a remote position within the continental U.S., with the expectation
that candidates reside near a major airport due to monthly business
travel. Preference will be given to applicants located near our
regional offices (Washington, DC; New York City; Atlanta; Chicago;
Austin; Costa Mesa or San Jose, CA). Responsibilities Conduct
analytical work that supports meaningful client decisions—including
research, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, survey design and
analysis, financial modeling, operational assessments, market
analysis, and program development. Synthesize findings into clear,
compelling client deliverables and presentations that help prepare
clients for effective decision-making. Serve as a secondary client
liaison, supporting project managers with communication,
coordination, and on-site engagement. Participate in and support
client site visits nationwide. Enhance our advisory capabilities by
improving analytical tools, refining models, strengthening data
storytelling, and contributing new ways of thinking. Collaborate
closely with project teams, internal partners, and external
stakeholders to advance critical thinking and best practices.
Contribute to business development through proposal writing,
conference participation, article development, and relationship
building. Support the coaching and onboarding of junior staff.
Participate in ongoing professional development and coaching.
Requirements 3 years of experience in higher education or
non-profit management, food service/hospitality management,
management consulting, urban planning, and real estate development.
Bachelor’s degree in higher education / non-profit management, food
service/hospitality management, management consulting, real estate
development, urban planning, architecture, or related field is
required; Master’s degree preferred. Strong analytical
capabilities; data collection and analysis, and financial modeling.
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications
including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Intermediate to
advanced Excel proficiency preferred. Experience in
higher-education dining or institutional food service is a plus.
Experience in a client-facing or customer-facing role; comfort with
project management fundamentals is preferred. Excellent writing,
group facilitation, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced, multi-project environment. Intellectual curiosity and a
critical-thinking mindset, with a demonstrated commitment to
excellence and thoughtful risk-taking. Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail. Willingness to travel two or more times

role's target base annual salary range is currently $78,000-92,000.
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment
with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews
and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate,
including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant
education, experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate,
