• Site sees 100-150 patients / day with 4 phlebos = 100-120 draws / day per phlebo
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Mostly drawing and processing
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Sample processing, aliquoting
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessaryTop Skills:Blood draw, Phlebotomy, Customer Service, Phlebotomy Certification, Aliquoting, Pediatric, VenipunctureAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CA Phlebotomy Certification (CPT-1)
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (prefer 3-6 mo experience), open to no prior experience
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
