Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Sacramento, CA Agency: Diverse Lynx LLC Pay: $42 to $46 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Assignment Details Position: Activities / Recreation Coordinator Required Certification: BLS Key Responsibilities Collaborates with team members to develop a monthly calendar of therapeutic activities. Obtains resources such as music, slides, tapes, books, games, and recreational equipment. Coordinates with community groups to arrange programs of interest for participants. Assists with general activities including greeting participants, reality orientation, food service, and toileting. Implements activities scheduled on the monthly calendar. Builds a warm social environment through celebrations, entertainment, and community-based recreational programming. Participant Services Works with Supervisor to plan personalized activities for participants with special needs. Assists in evaluation and care planning for prospective participants. Completes required evaluations and attends review meetings. Documents participant information in patient records and/or department database. Provides supportive contact for individuals with emotional or functional limitations. Monitors functional changes and adjusts activity programs accordingly. Ensures participant safety by communicating physical or mental health changes to Supervisor or team. Volunteer Coordination Provides training to Senior Care volunteers. Assigns volunteers to activities and appropriate tasks. Monitors volunteer performance and provides feedback to Supervisor. Assists with volunteer documentation, evaluations, and attendance records. Experience Required 2 years of recent relevant experience Skills and Knowledge Working knowledge of elderly needs including mobility limitations, sensory impairment, and cognitive loss. Sensitivity to cultural and educational needs of diverse ethnic groups. Familiarity with basic recreation equipment. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks. Ability to follow established procedures to solve routine problems. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality (PHI compliance). Strong professional communication and relationship-building skills.
