Mammography Tech Location: Redwood City, CA Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,900 to $3,150 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Location: Redwood City, CA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (10 hours x 4 days/week) Pay Rate: $2900 – $3150 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Redwood City, CA for a 13-week assignment. The Mammography Tech will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate diagnostic results. Key Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns Ensure compliance with MQSA and radiation safety standards Operate and maintain mammography equipment Review images for quality and accuracy before submission Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members Follow infection control and patient safety protocols Requirements: ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M) Active California state license (if required) Minimum 2 years of recent mammography experience BLS certification (required) Strong knowledge of mammography procedures and quality standards Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
