Seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our litigation practice group This position represents an exciting and unique opportunity for growth within an established and prestigious firm that is expanding its litigation, trust and estate, real estate, lending, business and transactional law practices. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience as a general and professional liability litigation attorney. Preferred candidates will have first chair and case management experience in court and with arbitration, including motions practices. A portable client base is not necessary. California Bar is required. Position Responsibilities: --- Develop practical solutions for resolving matters --- Coach clients on achieving optimal outcomes --- Counsel clients on managing and resolving disputes pre-litigation --- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and other key litigation documents --- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials --- Experience with e-discovery --- Ability to strategize with practice lead --- Desire to work with and supervise other practice members Requirements for the Position: --- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance --- Advanced skills in Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat --- Driven, self-starter with excellent analytical and writing skills who is willing and able to handle multiple matters --- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills --- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team --- Flexibility with scheduling to meet deadlines --- Willingness to learn new skills, systems, processes, and software applications We offer a wide variety of benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, retirement plan benefits, paid vacation and sick time, and remote work, all of which are all subject to eligibility requirements.
