An excellent opportunity is now available for a Surgical
Services Nurse Manager in a 100 bed non-profit Medical Center.
The OR Nurse Manager will report to the Director of
Perioperative Services, and will be supported by 2
supervisors. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for 30
full time nurses, an educator, and a variety of per diem
The Assistant Director of Perioperative Services will oversee a
very busy department with 7 Operating Rooms. The Medical
Center sees a variety of cases, including: General Surgery,
Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Dental,
Podiatry, Dental, Pulmonology, ENT and Pain Blocks among
others. The Surgeons and Surgical Services staff performs
over 10,000 procedures annually.
The ideal Surgical Services Nurse Manager will have previous
management or supervisory experience. The Perioperative Services
Nursing Manager will prepare annual budgets, develop spreadsheets,
monitor and analyze financial information and implement operational
changes to meet budget targets.
