The Digital Engagement Specialist is responsible for using the
company's owned and operated digital assets (websites, apps, etc.)
to magnify our radio station brands. The primary goals are to
increase usage of our websites and apps; to increase user
engagement on our social accounts; and to support the sales team as
needed to maximize digital revenue opportunities and results for
our advertiser partners.This is a hybrid on-site/remote role that
requires the employee to occasionally work at our San Francisco

volunteer hours.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- On a daily basis, ensure that our websites, apps, etc. are
fresh, relevant, on-brand, and easily accessible to all users.
- Regularly create high quality graphics for station branding and
client partners.
- Conduct daily quality control to ensure that all feeds, links
and functionality are working properly.
- Work closely with Radio Program Directors and the Marketing
Director to ensure that all digital and social content is
consistent with and supportive of our brand strategies.
- Train, support, and enable radio station staff to grow their
proficiency in engaging our audiences across multiple digital
channels. Foster two-way communication between the stations'
storytellers and the audience.
- Grow and utilize the stations' email and text databases.
- Work closely with Social Media Marketer/Producer to grow
effective reach and engagement.
- Track, analyze and report data to demonstrate which content is
most successful in reaching and engaging loyal users. Keep all
stakeholders abreast of the performance of our websites, apps and
social accounts.
- Support the Digital Sales Manager and sales team as needed to
maximize the company's digital revenue stream.
- Ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed on
time.
- Offer ideas and suggestions for the stations' digital
activities that are innovative and creative.
- Assisting digital content department during time off/vacations
and special projects
- Maintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff,
management, and clients.
- Project an appropriate professional appearance and
demeanor.
- Other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Four-year college degree in information systems, computer
science, business, communications, marketing, journalism, graphic
design or equivalent.
- Strategic vision paired with tactical ability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Commitment to learning new technology, techniques and
processes.
- Solid project management skills required.
- Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, grammar, proofreading,
design and graphic creation
- Preferred experience with videography and video editing.
- Ability to organize, analyze and interpret statistical data.
Demonstrated skills in using web analytics to make decisions, draw
conclusions, and follow through.
