Job Description:
Salary Range: $22.00-$26.00/hour
Stanford Hotels Corporation is currently seeking aPurchase
Expediter to join their team! The ideal candidate would have
experience sourcing materials such as furniture, fixtures,
equipment, linen, duvets, and other customized products in the
hospitality or construction industry. This position will handle
renovations and new builds within the Stanford Hotels Corporation
portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-Assist with tracking purchases from PO draft, PO execution,
payments, submittals and approval, and product tracking and
delivery.
-Assist with managing product delivery coordination and
tracking.
-Assist with vendor management.
-Assist with drafting purchase orders.
-Assist with maintaining Purchase Order log.
-Assist with maintaining Product Tracking log.
-Assist with product damage claims.
-Assist with reviewing monthly warehouse charges.
-Assist with inventory review when necessary.
-Manage product order placement and delivery tracking schedule.
Ensure prompt actions by various participants for timely product
delivery to warehouse or property.
-Time management.
-Any other responsibilities assigned by Purchasing Manager and Sr.
Director.
WHAT WE NEED:
-1 to 2 years' experience as a project administrator, office
assistance, accountant assistance or similar position
-High School Degree
-Must be extremely flexible and able to successfully manage
multiple simultaneous tasks
-Solid understanding of ethical procurement practices
-Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and
organizational skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Proficient in Excel Spreadsheet for generating, illustrating, and
managing procurement PO logs, budget tracking, estimates, proposal
cost analysis, etc.
