Job Description:The Respiratory Services Supervisor is a member of the management team whose primary responsibility is supervision of the daily operations of Respiratory Therapy consistent with the values and goals of the organization.Education:

• High School Diploma or above
• Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy - Required
• Bachelor's Degree Health Services Administration - PreferredExperience:
  • 5 years Management - Supervisory Position - Required
  • 5 years Cardiopulmonary - Respiratory Care Practitioner - RequiredADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • NRP Certification required for RT' supervisors who work/float in the ICN at Walnut Creek campus. NICU trained Respiratory Supervisors shall have additional training and experience in Neonatal Respiratory Care. Additional training shall be demonstrated by the following:
    • 1) Completion of a formal neonatal respiratory therapy course at an approved school of respiratory therapy that includes didactic and clinical course work, or
    • 2) Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of didactic and four weeks of preceptored neonatal clinical experience in a hospital based course.
    • Respiratory Therapist's receiving their initial CRT certification prior to July 1st, 2002 will not be, per NBRC guidelines, required to renew this certification to maintain their CRT credentials and meet the minimum requirement of this job description
    • Respiratory Therapist's receiving their initial CRT certification after July 1st, 2002 will be, per NBRC guidelines, required to renew this certification every 5 years to maintain their CRT credentials and meet the minimum requirement of this job description
    • Respiratory Therapist's receiving their initial RRT certification prior to July 1st, 2002 will not be, per NBRC guidelines, required to renew this certification to maintain their RRT credentials and meet the minimum requirement of this job description
    • Respiratory Therapist's receiving their initial RRT certification after July 1st, 2002 will be, per NBRC guidelines, required to renew this certification every 5 years to maintain their RRT credentials and meet the minimum requirement of this job description---Certifications/Licensures:
      • RCP Respiratory Care Practitioner - California Respiratory Care Board - Required
      • Registered Respiratory Therapist - NBRC National Board of Respiratory Care or
      • Certified Respiratory Therapist - NBRC National Board of Respiratory Care - Required
      • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
      • Pediatric Adv Life Support - American Heart Association Required
      • NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Heart Association - Preferred but Required to work in the ICN DeptWork Shift:Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)Pay Range:$65.42 - $98.13HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
