Deal Desk Strategist 15470A leading professional networking
company seeks a Deal Desk Strategist. The successful candidate will
understand our policies, processes, and systems, and will advise,
coach, and train Sales Reps to work efficiently within our sales
process and policies. Additionally, the Strategist will lead
initiatives to improve our processes, systems, and team. The
company offers a great work environment.Deal Desk Strategist Pay
and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $25-$35/hr (pay varies based on experience and
location)
- Worksite: San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA; New York, NY;
Carpinteria, CA; or Chicago, IL - Hybrid, must be 3 days
onsite
- W2 employment, group medical, dental, vision, life insurance,
retirement savings program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6-month assignment, possible
extensionResponsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to Sales teams for
solving complex O2C process problems.
- Act as an expert in advanced Deal Desk activities impacting
quota setting, bookings attainment, and deal structuring.
- Lead ongoing and month-end audit and quality activities.
- Educate Sales teams on process, policy, and best practice
changes to improve performance and capacity.
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting Sales, including new
product and policy rollouts, and process improvements.
- Ensure Sales operate within Rules of Engagement, partnering
with teams to enforce policies.
- Maintain accurate Sales and contract data in CRM and other
systems, collaborating with teams for reconciliation.
- Identify, scope, and implement process and system improvements
for Sales operations.
- Adapt to dynamic environment and new business processes
weekly.
- Travel to regional offices for direct meetings with Sales and
leadership.
- Model cultural values for junior team members.
- Serve as coach and mentor, assisting with onboarding, training,
and problem-solving.
- Understand end-to-end OTC processes and support
cross-functional roles for issue resolution.
- Manage issue resolution, from triage to resolution, across
back-office teams.
- Analyze recurring issues for process and system improvement
opportunities.
- Engage with clients as needed to resolve OTC issues
directly.Qualifications:
- 2+ years in deal desk, revenue operations, sales operations,
pricing, or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of Excel experience.
- 1+ year experience with Google and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SaaS and subscription products.
- Comfortable with change, thriving in fast-paced environments,
with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen, organizational, time management, and
attention to detail.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle is a
plus.
- Ability to process high transaction volume accurately and with
integrity.
- Flexibility to support different roles as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting Sales and clients
proactively.
- Familiarity with order-to-cash processes.
